About Michelle Goans

Illinois born artist Michelle Goans graduated Cum Laude from Northern Illinois University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Michelle’s focus was in illustration but was attracted to printmaking as a medium. This attraction to printmaking led Michelle to teach herself lithography and continue to hone her printmaking skills over the last 7 years. Since 2017 she has been based out of Visalia, California, where she is working as an artist, graphic designer, and printmaker. While continuing her artistic practice Michelle is also the current Gallery Director at Arts Visalia Visual Art Center in Visalia, CA. Michelle’s work has been exhibited across the United States, including juried, group, and solo exhibitions.
